In the heart of Granada, next to Teatro Isabel la Católica, we have spent forty-seven years cooking meat over holm-oak charcoal. A fire lit without pause since 1995, recipes that do not change, produce from this land and the steady hand of an entire family.

Carmen,the founder
She was the secret behind the flavour that has enchanted guests since 1979 — yet she never wanted to leave the kitchen to collect a medal. By five in the morning she was already preparing the migas, cleaning the fish, organising the day. Her daughter continues her work today with the same care.
